Purpose
The Verdict of Ideas aims to correct meaningful errors promptly and transparently. A correction is not treated as an embarrassment; it is part of evidence-led publishing.
How to request a review
Email theverdictofideas@gmail.com with:
- the article or page title and URL;
- the exact sentence, claim, image, caption, or source entry at issue;
- why it may be inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, or improperly attributed; and
- the strongest supporting source or evidence you can provide.
Review process
The request is compared with the underlying source notes and inspected evidence. The publication may seek additional sources or context. Submitting a request does not guarantee that the requested wording will be adopted.
How corrections appear
- Minor typographical or formatting changes may be made without a formal note when they do not alter meaning.
- Material factual or contextual corrections should be noted on the article with the date and a concise explanation.
- When the evidence remains contested, the article may be clarified or updated to represent the uncertainty more accurately.
- If a piece cannot be made responsibly accurate, it may be withdrawn with an explanatory notice.
