The Verdict of Ideas aims to provide a website that is readable, navigable, and usable for as many people as practical. Accessibility is treated as publishing quality, not a one-time certificate.
Implemented design controls
- semantic landmarks and a skip-to-content link;
- keyboard-visible focus states and minimum practical target sizes;
- high-contrast text and restrained animation;
- responsive layouts for narrow screens and text enlargement;
- reduced-motion support;
- descriptive page titles, headings, link text, and image alternatives where required; and
- print-friendly article output.
Standard and limitations
The practical target is WCAG 2.2 Level AA where reasonably achievable, but this statement is not a claim of formal certification or perfect conformance. Third-party services, including the cookie interface and any externally hosted newsletter form, may have limitations outside the theme’s direct control.
